GNC Interview Tips

Every company conducts their interviews differently, but more recent tactics involve using your past experiences to judge how you will perform in the future.  Following a few simple interview tips will help in coming out for the better in these situations.

Tip # 1.  Write a list of positive things you did in previous jobs and go over this list before the interview begins so that you can recall them easily.

Tip # 2.  Always look on the bright side, even if the interviewer asks for mistakes you have made in the past, paint them in a manner that shows you have learned your lesson.

Tip # 3.  Keep a dialogue open between you and the interviewer.  Remember that you are also interviewing the company to see if it is a good fit for you.

With these tips you should be able to impress the interviewer with your ability to learn, adapt and grow.

GNC Interview Questions

Interview questions will differ from one company to another, depending on their business ethic and the types of personality they are looking for.  However, there are still some basic questions that all employers fall back on to understand your background and where you plan to be in the future.

  • What kind of sports do you like?
  • Are you a fan of health products?
  • What do you think are the best qualities of working at GNC?
  • Have you ever had to go along with a work policy that you did not agree with and how did you deal with that?

GNC Interview Process

The interview process begins after you have submitted your application in person.  A hiring manager will then go over your application and measure it against other applicants.  This process can take up to two weeks.  You will then get a call to set up an interview.  This is usually a one-on-one affair where the interviewer will measure your knowledge in sports and nutrition, while also judging your customer service skills.  This interview can take up to 30 minutes.  You might also be asked to submit to a drug test before employment begins.

GNC Interview Attire

When deciding what to wear to an interview, you should choose something that exemplifies your tidiness and professionalism.

What to Wear – Good interview attire should consist of black or khaki dress pants or knee-length dress or skirt, collared shirt or blouse and dress shoes.

What to Bring to the Interview – It can help to bring a copy of your education and work background, a pencil and pad and a courteous attitude.
