Tip # 2.Be personable.  As a sales associate at Petco, you will be working with pet owners (and their pets).  You need to let the hiring manager know that you are friendly, approachable, and willing to help customers with their needs.

Petco Interview Process

Anyone wanting to begin a career at Petco must first complete and submit an application for employment.  Once your application has been reviewed, you may be contacted by a hiring manager to schedule an interview, essentially beginning the interview process.  The first interview will be one-on-one with a hiring manager.  If you are interviewing for a management position, you may be asked to come in for a second interview with another manager.  In either case, you may be offered a position at the end of your first or second interview.  In other cases, the manager may opt to call you and offer you a position over the telephone.
