Tip # 1.Review your past work experience and the skills you were required to have for those jobs.Be prepared to explain how having those skills makes you a good candidate for a position with Petco.

Tip # 2.Arrive to your interview on time.  If you are late, it will not look good to the hiring manager, who wants to hire reliable employees.

Tip # 3.Be personable.  As a sales associate at Petco, you will be working with pet owners (and their pets).  You need to let the hiring manager know that you are friendly, approachable, and willing to help customers with their needs.

Petsmart Interview Process

To begin a career at Petsmart, you must first complete and submit an application for employment.  Once your application has been reviewed by a hiring manager, you may be contacted to schedule an interview, to begin the interview process.  The first interview is one-on-one with a hiring manager.  If you are interviewing for a managerial position, you will probably be asked to come in for a second interview with different manager.  In either instance, you may be offered a position at the end of your first or second interview.  In other cases, the manager may opt to call you and offer you a position over the telephone.
